five minutes prior to the preparatory signal.
Start Line: Between the Committee Boat and a temporary Club
buoy "A" approximately 0.75 n.m. @245°
magnetic from the San Leandro Channel entrance.

entrance to the San Leandro Channel.

Finish: Length of the course for scoring purposes is 20.8 n.m.
Finishing boats shall take their own times and relay to the Race Committee
via channel 68 as soon as possible.
Racing
note:
Sails are limited to working sails (mainsail and jib/genoa).
This is a non-spinnaker race.
Withdraw
DNF:
All yachts withdrawing or not finishing must report to the Race Committee
via channel 68.
Time
Limit:
All yachts not finishing by 1700 hours (5:00 p.m.) will be scored DNF.
Protests: Protests are highly discouraged. This is supposed to be a fun race, however
if you really feel wronged bring your protests in person to the Race Committee
at the SLYC Clubhouse immediately following your finish.

Limited guest berthing is available.
