Hello from the Northwest - It's hard to believe we are making our home and getting settled up in Spokane, Washington. We are still arranging furniture and pictures in our home and enjoying the sunset each evening from our deck. The fall weather has been beautiful, but we are also learning from our neighbors what has to be done before the snow flies!

Those of you who didn't hear from us before we left are probably as surprised as all our friends when we decided to leave the Bay Area and start a new adventure in our lives. To add to our adventurous spirit, we also purchased a 31-foot RV! We plan to explore many parts of the country and return to California whenever we want to see our old stomping grounds.

Both of us will miss SLYC, after being members for 22 years and making so many good friends. Please keep in touch, and we'll be sure to stop by on our very first trip back to San Leandro.

June 17, 2004 We recently returned from a 3-week land yacht trip back to Minnesota to see Marlene's relatives and followed the Lewis & Clark trail back through N. Dakota & Montana. It was a good time to miss the summer tourists.
